Designing resilient education in times of AI
SAIL (Scenarios AI and Learning) is a research project that explores in co-creation with teachers, students and the field how higher education can support students in developing competences at the desired level of independence in an era of generative AI.
An initiative of the Expertise Centre Education & Development at University of Applied Sciences UCLL
Generative AI confronts higher education with fundamental choices: which competences do we still want students to master independently, and how do we deploy GenAI without undermining the learning process?
The SAIL project explores how programmes can support students in developing competences at the desired level of independence in an era of GenAI. It focuses on when GenAI adds value to learning - and when it deliberately does not.
