Scenario axes
Based on a cross-case comparison of the areas of tension from both sessions, two central scenario axes have been formulated inductively. These were not determined theoretically in advance, but emerged from the recurring patterns in the data from both sessions combined.
In this synthesis, the two scenario axes remain the central analytical framework for positioning different forms of professional practice in AI-integrated contexts. The dispositional lens introduced earlier does not replace these axes, but deepens their interpretation. It reveals that professional performance does not depend solely on the level of understanding or steering, but also on the extent to which professionals actually recognise, activate and apply their knowledge, critical judgement and responsibility in specific professional situations.
